Firepod Bipod

The Firepod Bipod was built for shooters who want a lightweight hunting bipod that still feels absolutely rock solid behind the rifle. We tested multiple prototypes hard for over a year before ever putting the Backfire name on it — because if it flexes, loosens, or feels spongy under recoil, we’re not interested.

The result is a bipod that feels incredibly rigid and confidence-inspiring, helping you build a stable shooting position without the bounce and flex that can hurt accuracy.

The carbon fiber legs keep weight down while metal twist locks and all-metal connection points provide durability where it matters most. The spring-loaded legs deploy instantly when you’re getting behind the rifle, making setup fast when seconds matter. A single push-button lets you quickly switch leg angles from 90° to 45° for uneven terrain and awkward shooting positions.

The Firepod also features pan and tilt adjustment so you can level the rifle naturally without fighting the terrain.

Unlike many lightweight bipods that rely on Arca attachments, the Firepod mounts via Picatinny for a stronger, more secure connection to the rifle — especially important when loading the bipod hard or shooting heavier rifles.

And yes — it pairs perfectly with the Backlight Chassis.

Why We Made This: I'll just be frank.  We used to be a retailer for bipods from other companies.  We saw how often they were returned from getting broken and we just couldn't stand behind the product anymore.  We were walking through Shot Show and found a company making these bipods and we were blown away with the quality.  We bought several of them and used and abused them for a year before we agreed to put the Backfire name on it and sell them.  It's imported from China and produced by another company for us, but we'll 100% stand behind this thing.  It's the bipod we personally choose to use.
